PUBLISHERS INDUSTRY
Product Manager
PT AGRANET MULTICITRA SIBERKOM
CT CORP: Detikcom, CNN Indonesia, CNBC Indonesia, etc.
This was my first real professional workplace. The first time I forced myself to collaborate after spending too many years behind a computer screen. Communication was, of course, the main challenge for any fresh graduate.
For some reason, I believe the education system in this country seriously needs to reconsider how students are taught to communicate and collaborate. I had to fight hard to understand those two things. And honestly, after two years here, I felt I had failed because those two skills were at the very core of the job’s demands.
That reality still follows me to this day (August 2025). Even when I work with university students in internship programs, I still see the same pattern they resemble my younger self, barely daring to ask questions. And that’s a fundamental problem.
What made it more critical was my role at CT Corp, I was a Product Manager. A position that demands cross-division communication at all times. And in that aspect, I failed.
TRAVEL & TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY
SEO Executive
PT TRINUSA TRAVELINDO
Traveloka was where I first learned what standards really mean quality, understanding, and the kind of discipline that rewired almost everything I thought I knew.
Back then, I doubted I would even survive the 3-month probation. I slept only 3–5 hours a night not because the company demanded it, but because the work environment pulled me in that far. I felt I had to; I was still painfully ignorant, and I needed to earn my place.
It wasn't a workplace to me. It was a university. A place that trained my eyes to see what I couldn't see before. My understanding of SEO marketing leveled up here.
The 2018–2020 era was, in my view, a rare moment in Indonesia’s tech scene when some of the most brilliant minds in the country, especially in tech, gathered under one roof. It created an echo chamber so deep that it forced every individual to stretch their potential to the edge.
Head of Company & Founder
PT CMLABS INDONESIA DIGITAL
My original intention in building cmlabs was simple: to create an organization capable of disrupting our niche. The business plan, back then, was far from bulletproof. As a technical founder, my ambition was rooted in engineering in building a company recognized as an innovator: different, fearless, and willing to push against the status quo.
But the outcome surpassed my own expectations. Eventually, I realized that in this sector, adaptation would become a steep climb, especially with AI rewriting the rules of the search engine industry.
Regardless, the journey itself has been extraordinary a process of learning not just the mechanics of business, negotiation, and partnerships, but the far more difficult art of understanding people… and, most importantly, understanding myself.
I am the sum of collisions between ignorance and discovery, failure and reinvention a product of every constraint that once sought to limit me.
